Get to know Sam
Sam graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of West England, UK in 2009. Since then, she has extensive experience working in a large teaching hospital in Leeds, completing many specialist rotations including lower limb rehabilitation, spinal and upper limb, women’s health, trauma and elective orthopaedics and pre- and post- surgical rehabilitation. She worked closely with many specialist orthopaedic surgeons during this time, developing numerous post knee surgery protocols. She was also heavily involved in research and had her dissertation published alongside her colleagues in 2011.
Sam and her husband immigrated to Australia in the summer of 2013 where she started working with Jerome at Cremorne Physio as a Senior Physiotherapist. Her specialist lies within injury management, pre- and post- op rehabilitation as well as prevention. She has attended several post-graduate training courses in these areas.
Sam has had a passion for sport and exercise since she was a child. Her background in competitive sport, along with her extensive knowledge and experience, means she has the understanding and drive to get all of her patients functioning to the best of their ability.
Outside of work, Sam likes to explore Sydney and all that it has to offer. On weekends, she is often found in her ‘activewear’ enjoying the outdoors. If she’s not in the water scuba diving, wakeboarding or swimming, she will be out walking, running, or enjoying a gin and tonic in the sunshine.
